Dear students,
If you are ready for a new experience and a new opportunity that will improve your skills in written and oral advocacy, then you are invited to apply and be a part of this year's team that will be representing University of Prishtina, in the most prestigious and largest moot court competition, with participants from 700 law schools in 100 countries and jurisdictions.
The Jessup Competition is a simulation of a fictional dispute between countries before the International Court of Justice, the judicial organ of the United Nations. Teams of law students compete against one another through the presentation of oral and written pleadings to address timely issues of public international law in the context of a hypothetical legal dispute between nations.
The Jessup Moot requires an intensive commitment from students. These students are expected to work together as a team for the upcoming months, researching and drafting two memorials and then preparing for the oral rounds.
This year the Jessup Competition will be consolidated into a one-of-a-kind, fully global online event, whereas the European Friendly rounds can still take place in person.
In order to apply and be a part of this year's Jessup team, please send us:

• Your CV
• A short memorial, consisting of a maximum of 1500 words (including footnotes) regarding two of the four points of this year's Jessup problem:
o A state’s right of “cyber defense” from a network operating outside their territory;
o Searching and obtaining documents of diplomatic representatives if they serve the “national interest” of a state.

Please send your application with all the requirements mentioned above at [email protected], but no later the 4th of October.
*Please note that all memorials will be subject to plagiarism check, therefore make sure that you will draft the memorial by yourself and use quotation marks whenever you are citing a particular source.
