Prodekanët e Fakultetit Juridik të Universitetit të Prishtinës, Prof. Muhamet Vokrri-Prodekan për Mësimin Klinik dhe çështje të tregut të punës dhe Prof. Florent Muçaj-Prodekan për çështje mësimore dhe cilësi, me mbështetjen e Ambasadës Amerikane në Kosovë (INL) kanë marrë pjesë në dy konferenca që i dedikohen mësimit klinik, respektivisht në: CLEA New Clinicians Conference mbajtur me 27 Prill 2023, në Golden Gate University Law School dhe në Conference on Clinical Legal Education, organizuar nga Association of American Law Schools (AALS), që janë mbajtur në San Francisco, CA nga 27 deri me 30 prill 2023.
Pjesëmarrja në këto konferenca ka rezultuar në kohën kur Fakulteti Juridik i Universitetit të Prishtinës është duke bërë përgatitjet për zbatimin e plan programit të ri mësimor, në të cilin ka ri-konceptuar mësimin klinik (klinikat ligjore) si dhe ka themeluar Qendrën për Studime Klinike, si mekanizëm për implementimin e mësimit klinik dhe lidhjes me tregun e punës.
Në kuadër të të dyja konferencave të mbajtura, është ofruar mundësia për Prodekanët të ndjekin ligjërata dhe sesione të caktuara të temave të rëndësishme, të modelit të mësimit klinik që implementohet në Universitete të ndryshme të Shteteve të Bashkuara të Amerikës. Përveç kësaj, gjatë kësaj vizite është mundësuar pjesëmarrja edhe në grupe punuese si dhe në diskutim në kuadër të sesioneve të caktuara.
Duke ndjekur sesionet e konferencave, të cilat ndërlidhen me modelin e mësimit klinik në Fakultetin Juridik të Universitetit të Prishtinës (që pritet të filloj nga viti akademik 2023/2024), ne presim që nga këto konferenca, të arrijmë rezultatet konkrete në zbatimin e elementeve të modelit të mësimit klinik amerikan në Fakultetin Juridik, përkatësisht ndjekjen e modelit të klinikave ligjore siç e kanë përcaktuar shumica e universiteteve amerikane, punën me studentët që marrin pjesë në klinikat ligjore (live clinics) dhe mbi të gjitha ndjekjen e një modeli të qëndrueshëm të lidhjes së klinikave ligjore me tregun e punës, me qëllim që studentët të fitojnë sa më shumë shkathtësi praktike.

The Vice-Deans of the Faculty of Law of the University of Prishtina, Prof. Muhamet Vokrri-Vice-Dean for Legal Clinics and Labor Market Issues and Prof. Florent Muçaj-Vice-Dean for Teaching and Quality Assurance, by the support of US Embassy in Prishtina (INL), participated in two conferences, dedicated to legal clinics: CLEA New Clinicians Conference held on 27 April 2023, at the Golden Gate University Law School as well as Conference on Clinical Legal Education, organized by the Association of American Law Schools (AALS) held in San Francisco, CA from 27 to 30 April 2023.
The participation on these conferences resulted in the time when the Faculty of Law of the University of Pristina is making preparations for the implementation of the new curriculum, in which it has re-conceptied legal clinics as well as it has established the Legal Clinic Center, as an implementation meachinsem for clinical learning and relations with the labor market.
Within the framework of both conferences held, we were offered the opportunity to attend lectures and certain sessions of important topics, of the clinical teaching model that is implemented in different Universities of the United States of America. In addition, we were able to participate in working groups as well as in discussions within certain sessions.
Having participated in these conference sessions, which are related to the legal clinics model at the Faculty of Law of the University of Pristina, we expect to achieve the following results: the implementation of the elements of the American clinical teaching model in the Faculty of Law; the implementation of the American model of student selection in the legal clinics of the Faculty of Law; working with students participating in legal clinics, based on real and imaginary cases, according to some models presented at the conference; following a sustainable model of connecting legal clinics with the labor market, in order for students to obtain as many practical skills as possible.
